One-Stop Shop for Bookish Gifts
Exciting news - we've added a bunch of awesome book swag to our studio retail shop! Please come visit our studio in South Minneapolis to see our exceptionally nerdy collection of goods, featuring many of our favorite local and national artists. Most items are handmade and everything is super awesome. A one-stop-shop for book nerds! 📚🤓
Because our handmade business is mostly online, we're relatively new to this brick-and-mortar, retail-y side of things. It's really nice to have people visit! Our old studio was tucked away in a more remote warehouse-y area, but now we get to see more of our neighbors and nerdy superfans.
We want our workspace to be as welcoming and interesting as possible. If you're at all curious, please drop in and watch us make candles, chat us up and check out some work by other artists. We hope to connect with many nerds of all sorts and create a unique space that reflects our love of art and reading.
As promised, Tom finally made a couple new illustrations! We have shirts, prints and mugs available with those designs. We'll keep making more, all focusing on the joy of reading. We also have other MN artist items - handbound journals and mini book necklaces by Wayfaring Art, Harry Potter necklaces and book lockets by Larissa Loden and book-themed terrariums by Moss Love.
Illustrations, cards and pins are available from some of my awesome Etsy and Instagram buddies like Little Truths Studio, Typeshy and Andrew Brozyna. We've also got totes, mugs and socks from Out of Print. And finally(!), we're carrying tart melters and candle warmers (a highly requested item).
If you're in Minneapolis, stop in to check out all the bookish merch and smell all the smells! And if you can't make it to the Twin Cities, make sure to check out all these lovely folks' websites. Maybe you can swing by the next time you're in our lovely neighborhood.
Speaking of local goings-on, we'll be having a Pop-Up Shop during Art-a-Whirl this weekend! We've got a guest spot at the Northrup King Building in Northeast Minneapolis, Studio 264 (just across from Larissa Loden). Stop by anytime this weekend, May 19-21. It's an awesome event. We'll have candles and lots of these bookish items, so make sure to visit us if you're whirling.
