Every single month, we design a new bookish fragrance. Subscribers receive a new candle inspired by literature, reading spaces, seasonal moods, and the comforting rituals that surround a good book. If you love discovering new scents and making your reading routine feel more intentional, this is the subscription we made for you.

Check out our calendar below to see when you'll receive your first subscription box! We have a cut-off date on the 25th of each month. Place your pre-order by that date, and we'll ship out your first box on the 28th. If you start your subscription on the 26th or later, we'll ship out your first box a month later on the following 28th.
Subscription boxes ship out separately from non-subscription items. All deliveries are carbon neutral. We partner with a service that measures our carbon footprint and pays credits towards long-term solutions that remove carbon from the atmosphere.

This is such a light scent. It’s absolutely lovely. Birch Path and Wild Flowers. This candle was the April Candle of the Month, which I subscribed to at the beginning of the year. I really do look forward to receiving my candle each month. I also love being surprised by the scent that arrives. I’ve loved them each, even though I didn’t think I would enjoy maple syrup as a scent. When combined with the other “flavors,” it was perfect. I highly recommend the subscription.

Usually this candle of the month club is amazing. But my September candle arrived shattered. It smelled so good but I was not able to use it. The only other time there was an issue was maybe June or July’s candle- it was so hot that there was oil all over the candle when I unboxed it. I don’t know if there’s a solution for that. Overall it’s been a good experience but I’m upset that I contacted the company about the broken candle and hoped for a replacement and I haven’t heard anything.

Taking a candle out, striking the match, lighting the wick, and having the scent fill my office is so helpful for my daily workflow. It is a practice that keeps me focused and honed in on what I have to do. As someone who works out in public quite a bit, it is wonderful to have a regular ritual of lighting a candle when I work in my office. Quiet and undisturbed with a delightful aroma.

I do enjoy your candles. They are relaxing, but I feel like the shipping charge is too high. I live about 6 hours away from you in Illinois, and feel as if the shipping costs are too high. Otherwise I would order more from your company, at greater lengths!
We hear you and also wish postage rates were cheaper but unfortunately candles are heavy and expensive to ship. We do offer a free shipping tier and are brainstorming ways to be able to offer discounted shipping to our subscribers so we appreciate your feedback and support!

I was not sure what to expect in the description of scents. I love pine, sage is ok, and not a big fan of patchouli. I am a HUGE fan of this scent! It reminds me of a "clean" soap smell. Weird right? Its like witchcraft! Frostbeard has done it again!

The March 2025 candle is an unusual blend, and by all accounts shouldn’t smell as amazing as it does. But Baba Yaga’s Hut is wonderful - cosy, woodsy, and a bit otherworldly. The monthly scents really are some of Frostbeard’s best!

I finally broke down and bought the 12- month subscription to Frostbeard candles. I always enjoy the surprise new scents. The Christmas Box is also one of my favorites. Their customer service is excellent. They re-sent an order that got damaged by the delivery service this past summer. Buy from them with confidence.
