Through the Wardrobe

This scent has a weak throw, especially considering it smells fairly strong when it's cold. That being said, I love the balance of the woodsy and sweet aromas and think it works especially well as a candle to burn in the winter. I just wish it was stronger!

The woodsy spruce smell combines well with the sweeter notes of applewood and the freshness of snow. The aroma is pleasant and not overly aggressive, as one might expect from spruce. I enjoy this candle for its background, workaday scent. It's not exceptional, but it is something I would enjoy burning on any given day while working, reading, or doing housework.

I had been wanting this candle for awhile, but somehow always missed it before it sold out. I finally got my hands on it and I am not disappointed. It's a very fresh scent, like opening a window on a balmy winter day. It's light and not overpowering. It's a nice balance to have in addition to the stronger, bolder winter scents which I also love.

I opened this candle and was immediately transported to the lamppost waiting for Mr. Tumnus. The spruce and applewood give it the winter woods scent and the 'snow' gives it the hint of magic that would permeate every inch of Narnia. I cannot say enough good things about this candle - the entire room is full of the scent, even when unlit. Even the color of the candle makes me think of Edmund and the White Witch eating Turkish Delight.

This is a nice, fresh smelling winter candle. I love the balance between the different scents. But I wish it was stronger and had more staying power. You can smell it when it's burning but I feel like just barely.
